The college offers a Bachelor of Arts Degree in a variety of majors (see below). We combine wide exploration in general education with focused study within the major, including an internship, that culminates in the two-semester Degree Project completed during the final year.
Admission to the B.A. program is selective, based on assessment of the Midpoint Portfolio, after approximately 60 credits. Following admission to the B.A. program, upper-level students formally identify their majors and meet with the department chairs and/or academic advisors. This program is completed through courses and other learning modes offered at Burlington College, usually on site. Students work with their academic advisors to select the best combination of courses, other learning modes, and faculty to meet their needs.
Transfer students should submit their official transcripts with their applications. At least 30 credits must be taken at Burlington College in order to earn the B.A.
