Financial Aid: Refunds—Independent Degree Program

A semester is defined as beginning on the first day of the residency and ending the day that evaluations are due.

Students who wish to drop out of the IDP or reduce their enrolled credit hours after registering for and attending the residency are subject to a fee: $450 for part-time students, $550 for full time students. A $300 fee is assessed if a student is registered but did not attend the residency. This fee covers costs incurred by Burlington College and is charged against any refund.
