International Students: Overview

Burlington College welcomes students from all over the world to study in either our campus program or our brief residency independent study program. It is best to apply far in advance of the semester in which you plan to begin. The student visa application process can be lengthy and the College also wants to reserve housing for you well in advance of your arrival, as housing at BC and in the local area, is limited. International students must enroll in a full course of study (12 or more credits per semester). Traditionally, full-time students enroll in 15 credits per semester and complete a Bachelor of Arts degree in four years.
