Student Visa I-20

When an applicant has been accepted for admission, the director of admissions will prepare a student visa application (I-20) and mail it to the prospective student. Being accepted to Burlington College does not automatically give international prospective students entry into the United States. A student visa must be obtained. The completed I-20 Form from Burlington College should be brought to the United States Embassy in the prospective student's area. It is important to be aware that the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) has the authority to deny a student visa, even when an applicant had been accepted to the College.
