One of the factors used to rank the colleges is alumni satisfaction, which they measure by the percentage of alumni that make a gift to the annual fund. The higher the percentage of alumni givers, the higher they rate the alumni satisfaction. Therefore, your gift to Burlington College helps boost the College’s ranking and helps boost the reputation of your alma mater.
Also, did you know that tuition does not cover the full cost of educating a student? The annual fundraising performed by the College pays for approximately 15% of that expense. While you were a student, alums and friends of the College funded a portion of your education. Now it’s your turn to help today’s students.
