Faculty Positions Prospective faculty members should send in a current resume along with a cover letter. Suggested syllabi or course descriptions for courses or workshops may be attached. Burlington College requires faculty to have terminal degrees or demonstrated excellence, with Ph.D. preferred.
Burlington College is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We generally plan our course offerings 5–8 months prior to the beginning of the following semester. Spring semester planning begins in July and is completed by the end of August. Summer semester planning begins in November and is finalized by the end of December. Because our continuing student registration process for summer and fall semesters is concurrent, planning for the fall semester also begins in late November/early December and is finished by early January. It is very rare that the Academic Planning Committee approves additional courses or trips after these months. Thank you for your cooperation with our academic schedule.
