Poetry Reading to Benefit New Orleans Public Library
Saturday, April 29, at 2:00 P.M., Burlington College will join the efforts of The Vermont Library Association and the Vermont Department of Libraries in aiding the New Orleans Public Library recover from Hurricane Katrina. In addition, as part of National Poetry Month will also be celebrating the poetry of our students, faculty, staff, and trustees.
Contributions collected during the poetry event will go towards that VLA/DOL effort. Featured poet will be Burlington College student and recent New Orleans resident Macklin Finley.
April 29 is also the day of the Burlington College Open House, which runs from noon until 3 P.M.
