Housing

Burlington College owns and maintains a limited quantity of Student Housing. We seek to place students in housing who are responsible tenants, and who share a commitment to contributing to and strengthening the college community.

For students residing in Student housing, housing costs are included in the student’s itemized bill each term. Students are responsible for payment of all charges for the contract period.

Cost Per Semester
Haswell House
$2,750
Lakeview Terrace

Students interested in residing in Student Housing at Burlington College must:
1.Request and complete the Burlington College Housing Application; submit the application to the Office of Student Services.
2.Sign and return the Student Housing Contract. The Contract is mailed to the student once the College determines suitable housing is available.
3.Attach a check or money order for $500.00. This represents the student’s Security Deposit and will be refunded, minus any charges, at the end of the Contract Period. Checks must be made payable to Burlington College.

Off-campus Housing
Many BC students live in rental properties within close proximity to the College and the downtown area. We are happy to support students with their search for off-campus housing. The Student Services office hosts a Housing Search Day each summer. New students and their families are invited to explore options for housing and roommates in the nearby area. We arrange to see local apartments and houses, and to meet local landlords. We strive to facilitate connections among our new students, and encourage them to consider living among one another, even off-campus. Please contact the office of Student Services to inquire about the next scheduled Housing Search Day.

Those who wish to embark upon an early search may find our Housing Resource Guide (PDF/52 kb) helpful.
