Adam Lukens' first job in the motion picture industry was as an unpaid grip intern on Jay Craven’s Windy Acres during the summer of his Junior year at Burlington College. By the film's end, he was promoted to Best Boy Grip and has never looked back. Adam has amassed credits as Director of Photography, Gaffer and Key Grip on over 45 feature films and literally hundreds of commercials and Television shows. He's best known for films like Frozen River, Sugar, The Visitor, Opus Jazz, For Ellen and On the Ice and was honored to serve as the key grip on the 2010 Oscar winning short film The New Tenants. Television credits include shows for HGTV, ABC, Food Network, MTV, Comedy Central and most recently Cartoon Network’s Delocated. Among his commercial credits are Geico, Absolute Vodka, Ben and Jerry’s, Target, Limited Express, Gladware, Sports Authority, Fresh Direct, Google, American Cancer Society, and The New England Credit Union. He moved from Burlington to Brooklyn in 2005 and co-owns/operates 2 Lighting and Grip rental houses, one in Burlington and one in NYC. B.A., Burlington College, in cinema studies and film production.
