Associates of Arts: Graphic Design Program Overview

An Associate of Arts Degree in Graphic Design is a 60-credit degree program in liberal arts with a concentration in graphic design. Beyond the requirements for the Associate’s Degree program, it allows students to take up to 30 credits in graphic design, fine art and photography coursework. Students take 21 credits of required graphic design and fine art studio courses, plus an additional nine credits of studio electives. Prerequisites for higher-level courses must be met before those courses can be taken. The program is designed so that it can be completed in four semesters of full-time course work.
