Students are housed in one of four buildings located either directly behind the College or two doors north on North Avenue. Most bedrooms are single-occupancy, though some are reserved for double-occupancy, and one is reserved for triple-occupancy. Attention is given to preference for a multi-person or two-person home during the application process; however, a particular type of room or apartment is not guaranteed.

 


Palm House


Four students share this three-bedroom house. The house includes a large living room, one full bath, a full kitchen, and dining area. Residents must supply their own house wares. All bedrooms are furnished with twin-sized beds and mattresses, dressers, and desks. The common area is furnished with a couch, chair, kitchen table and chairs, and coffee table. Cost of rent includes utilities. As is the case in all Burlington College residences, indoor smoking and alcohol or other drug use is strictly prohibited.

Students are expected to work together to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the house.

Haswell House

Student Housing: Haswell House
Six students share this five-bedroom house. Three bedrooms are located on the first floor; two are on the second floor, one of which is a double occupancy space. The house includes two full bathrooms (one on each floor), a large, eat-in kitchen, and a living room. Residents must supply their own house wares. All bedrooms are furnished with twin-sized beds and mattresses, dressers, and desks. The common area is furnished with a couch, chairs, kitchen table and chairs, and coffee table. Cost of rent includes utilities. As is the case in all Burlington College residences, indoor smoking and alcohol or other drug use is strictly prohibited. Lakeview Terrace

 


Lakeview Terrace # 9 has five separate apartments, including one for our Resident Advisor. All apartments have small kitchenettes, gas heat, private bathrooms, and are comfortable in size. Residents must supply their own house wares. All bedrooms are furnished with twin-sized beds and mattresses, dressers, and desks. The common areas are furnished with a loveseat, kitchen tables and chairs, and coffee tables. As is the case in all Burlington College residences, indoor smoking and alcohol or other drug use is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to work together to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the house.

North Ave House


115 North Avenue has three separate apartments and houses a total of nine students. All apartments have full kitchens, private bathrooms, and are comfortable in size. All of the bedrooms in these apartments are double occupancy, with one triple. Residents must supply their own house wares. All bedrooms are furnished with twin-sized beds and mattresses, dressers, and desks. The common areas are furnished with a couch or loveseat, chairs, kitchen tables and chairs, and coffee tables. As is the case in all Burlington College residences, indoor smoking and alcohol or other drug use is strictly prohibited.
