This tangy, fermented Korean condiment has sky-rocketed in popularity in recent years. Its salty, spicy taste is an unforgettable accompaniment to many dishes, from fried rice to dumplings to marinated beef and pork and vegetable dishes. Made with Napa cabbage, daikon radish, and a seasoned paste of Korean red pepper, ginger, garlic, and sugar, plus a few more ingredients, the flavors reach a new height as they slowly ferment, leading many people to talk about needing their “kimchi fix.” Come taste and learn everything you need to make this splendid condiment at home. We will make a large batch of kimchi together (with and without fish sauce for vegetarians) and each bring a jar home to ferment. $35

($5 of course cost goes towards the supply fee).
