Nate Beaman a film studies alumni now lives a busy life working film production roles on hollwoody movies and running three film industry companies

Since graduating, Beaman's talents have been recruited for motion pictures such as: "Social Network", Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz’s Night and Day”, Ben Stiller’s Grown Ups”, "Frozen River", and "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna". Beaman has collaborated with many indie directors and produced his own cinematography work.

Beaman founded and operates two Vermont-based companies: Urban Rhino, an animation, production, and post-production company, and Queen City Lighting and Grip, Inc. He is also a partner-owner in Brooklyn Lighting and Grip, Inc., an equipment supply business operating out of New York. Included in Beaman's creative accomplishments is inventing (see CRAMcompressor).

Beaman's depth of knowledge is showcased in his writing for the film industry. He is co-founder of a filmmaker's blog, Final Cut User, and he is a freelance writer for Videomaker Magazine (Blue-ray Wave: State of TechnologyVideo Editing Software Programs Buyer's Guide, 35mm Adapter Buyer's Guide, and Special Features: DVD Extras).

Beaman is an Apple Certified Final Cut and Motion Graphics Trainer. He is an adjunct professor for Burlington College.
