Once you have made the decision to attend Burlington College there are additional steps you will need to take in order to arrive in the United States and begin your study. The most important item you will need to obtain is an F-1 Visa, which you will apply for at the nearest United States Embassy or Consulate.
After you have submitted the required Proof of Financial Support documents to Burlington College, you will receive an I-20 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant (F-1) Student Status). This is the primary document that will allow you to set a visa appointment. There are additional items needed to obtain your visa so we recommend that you refer primarily to the website of your nearest US Embassy or Consulate for instructions regarding the complete visa application process.
