Student: Rob Palmer
Major: Bachelors of Fine Arts in Craftsmanship and Design

Rob chose Burlington College for its unique woodworking program, which gives him the ability to chose the direction of his educational journey. He feels the small class setting and personal attention he receives from his instructors is an environment in which he can thrive. He is enjoying being one of the first students in the Bachelors of Fine Arts in Craftsmanship and Design, because it truly gives him a chance to help shape the future of the program.

Rob recently took 2nd Place in the Fresh Wood Competition, a bi-annual fair hosted by the Association of Woodworking & Furniture Suppliers (AWFS). Palmer’s handcrafted cigar box styled guitar and case was showcased in the AWFS Fair from July 20-23, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Read more.
