The Baby Boomer generation is redefining aging and setting new precedents for the way our society views, supports and caters to its older adults.  Advanced health care has helped to address many physiological issues, but what about cognitive change?  With advanced health care, people are living longer – how will society meet their needs when the money runs out?  Through A/V presentations, readings and class discussion, we will explore this cultural shift on many levels: the challenges and opportunities it presents; the questions it raises for our deeply personal journeys with our aging families; eventually but inevitably, the individual choices we will make as we face the aging process in ourselves.
