The self care workshop for care providers is user friendly and aimed toward having fun while learning accessible techniques to address the stress and everyday trauma of our lives. The teaching style is based on experiential learning, presentations, and group discussion. By the end of the workshop, you will learn techniques to improve focus and concentration as well as skills to facilitate a sense of inner stillness and resilience when faced with life’s challenges. You will also have ideas of how to incorporate stress reduction and wellness in your everyday life. Regular mindfulness practice is not only an antidote to the stress of our daily lives, it also improves our sense of well-being, health and restores energy and enthusiasm for life.
