Join Burlington College and Shelburne Vineyard's owner and winemaker, Ken Albert for a one-day exploration of the new wines that have emerged to make Vermont one of America's newest wine districts. Begin with a short overview of the history of wine followed by a visit to two Shelburne Vineyard locations where you'll explore the growing vines and learn about their culture. Enjoy a box lunch at the vineyard and then continue the adventure with a tour of the Winery where the wines are produced. Wrap up the day with a tasting of eight of the vineyard's award-winning selections and enjoy a glass of wine paired with cheese and chocolate to round out the day before departing by van back to Burlington College.
