The Writing Center at Burlington College is a place where any matriculated on-campus or distance-learning student can receive instruction and assistance with writing projects. This includes support not only with reading, writing, and research, but also with critical thinking, topic generation, organization, drafting, revising, editing, and study skills.
There are a number of different time options and staff members available to work with you. We welcome walk-ins, so stop by and see us!

The Writing Center also serves as an open space for discussing creative as well as academic writing, and there are a number of writing resources available for check out. Operating on the idea that writing is a skill that can be taught and learned, the Writing Center encourages good writing, critical thinking, and effective communication.
